Education and training focus

Peace Team Forum (PTF) is a network of consisting of approximately 50 Swedish non-governmental organisations (NGOs).  Representing groups of diverse interests including human rights, peace, development, and aid, the network provides a forum for the organisations to exchange information and run joint projects. The PTF has focused education and training for work in conflict areas, Swedish and international seminars and conferences - with two conferences in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and studies, the most recent one dealing with conflict transformation and peace-building and the experience and future plans of Swedish civil society organisations.

The PTF is currently running a method- and capacity- building project on prevention of armed conflict, with the aim of strengthening the organisations in their work on prevention of armed conflict. There are 20 member organisations participating in this project.
